Electronics Donation Center
Empower Up accepts used computers, computer parts and other consumer electronics from the public at no charge.
We prefer to accept only working equipment that is no more than 5 years old. However, we will accept non-working or older equipment.
Donated equipment will be used in one of three ways:
- High quality computer donations are tested and refurbished for distribution to families in need via our partners at Clark College and the Salvation Army.
- Computers not used in the partnership program and other high quality equipment donations are tested and refurbished by our volunteers for sale in the Empower Up Thrift Store. Proceeds from the Thrift Store help to fund the Empower Up Education Program.
- Equipment that is non-working or obsolete is processed by volunteers in our Recycling Program. Proceeds from the sale of recovered materials help to fund the Empower Up Education Program.
How To Donate
The Empower Up Donation Center is located at 5000 E. Fourth Plain, Suite F (inside the Habitat for Humanity ReStore) in Vancouver. We are open to receive donations from 9:00am to 4:00pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Please check in first at our reception counter. Our volunteers can provide carts and assistance in unloading your vehicle.
Empower Up will provide a tax deductible donation receipt for both equipment and cash donations.
